Pre-Production Stage

Before we actually post our reviews, a bit of an introduction.  We are two reviewers, one a midwestern mama and the other a southwestern son.  Mom is fifty-something, while son is twenty-something.  Both of us are movie lovers, and there are some similarities in our taste, but a fair amount of differences that should be apparent as we present reviews of current movies, oldies but goodies, and just about anything else we might consider noteworthy.

A bit more about mom:  As a kid, I loved watching movies at 4 p.m. after school in Chicago (not where I live now)--a lot of black and white movies from the 40's and 50's, including Jimmy Stewart movies and westerns; musicals; and low-tech sci-fi and horror. Still enjoy an eclectic range of movies, though I probably won't review movies like Saw or even any of the Halloweens except through whatever little openings there might be between my fingers when I cover my face with both hands.

And son?: nothing yet. And we are now ten years later. Would it still work for a 30-something year old and a 60-something year old? Stay tuned . . . .
